Fall

This fall we have had a lot of first for our little family. Well I guess Jaxon had a lot of first.  He started preschool, played on a soccer team and really understood treat or treating.  I cant believe how big my boys are getting.  Jaxon is loving preschool and is really learning a lot.  I was nervous to see how he was going to do being away from home that long in some new place, and he love is. I was so happy.  Graham couldn't be left out.  He wanted a picture with his best buddy.

Jaxon played soccer with is friend Blake.  He loved soccer practice but wasn't to sure about the games.  He loved kicking and running after the ball.  We are hoping that as he gets older he will want to play in the games more.  He did good for his first soccer experience.

Halloween was really fun this year.  Jaxon really understood what was going on so it was fun to see him get really excited about it.  It made Graham get excited to.  He was not  a big fan of his costume but still had fun anyways.  We went to our ward trunk or treat.  We played games and had some yummy chili.  Then we were off to the trunks to get our first batch of candy.

Then on Halloween, we were able to go trick or treating with two friends.  We first went with Jaxon's good friend Blake and his brother and cousin.  I couldn't keep up with the boys they were so excited to run door to door.  Graham and Trevor tried to keep up but we finally had to resort to a wagon to pull the little boys.  Jeff didnt make it home in time to go with us so we decided to go with some of Jaxon's other friends so Jeff could go with us.  We met up with some of friends from school and Jaxon's buddy Mya.  Needless to say the boys were pooped when we were done .

We are excited for the rest of the holidays to come!!  The boys cant wait for Meema to come for Christmas.  We are so excited to have family be with us for the holidays.

LIFE.....

I have tried to start this post many many times.  There have been many things that have happened over the last several months..  Birthdays, Summer, family reunions and the Passing of my Beloved Father.  I have tried to get up the nerve to write a post for a couple months now.  I think in the back of my mind it was if I didn't write it down then it wouldn't really be real.  But I know that my father is in a better place , he is doing the Lord work and he is watching over our family.  My Dad is a man of faith, dedication, Love, honor and strength. I am so grateful to have had a father that told me he loved me and how proud he was of me.  He taught me how to work and never give up, he taught me how to love the savior and how important family was.  He was a gentle giant of a man with a heart of gold.  He has touched many life's and I know he will continue touch life's.  I am so thankful for a family that was strengthened in the tough time.  I am so grateful to know that I will get to see my dad again and excited for the day when our family will be reunited again.  I love you Dad!!!!

Graham is 1!!!!!!

Graham turned one on Jan 11.  I cant believe that this little big boy is one already.  It is really funny to think back a year ago.. I remember saying man I am going to cherish every moment of this little guys life because I know how fast they grow up.  When I woke up on on Jan 11th I thought to myself, man where did this year go.  I remember going into the hospital to be induced excited to finally meet graham.. The nurses kept telling me how cool it would be to have graham at 11:11 am on 1/11/11.  I told them if they could make it happen lets do it.  To my dismay.. he took his sweet time that day and didn't arrive until 5:45pm.  It wasn't at 11:11 but at least he still has a cool birthdate.  1/11/11...

Graham is such a funny kid.  He always makes us laugh.  He is the biggest jabber mouth and talks non stop.  He even laughs at his own jokes.  He will be crawling around and start talking and in the middle stop and give a great big belly laugh.

Graham is a mamas boy.  That is for sure. He loves to follow me around the house.  If i go up stairs to grab something he sits and whines at the bottom of the stairs until I get back.

He loves food.  He was done with baby food right around 12 months. I kept trying to feed it to him and he would just push it back out his mouth.  The texture of food didnt really seem to bother him. He loved that people food had more flavor.

He is my cuddle bug.  He loves to give hugs and lots of kisses.  If you are laying on the floor he will crawl over and tackle you and lay his head down on your chest.  So cute..

He is really tall like his brother.  He loves Jaxon and thinks that he can do whatever he is doing.  He is now starting to defend himself from Jaxon taking his toys.

We love his big cheesy grin.  You cant help but smile when you look at it.  Jaxon says that he has mater teeth, but we just think they are cute!!!

For his birthday we just had a family dinner and presents and cake.  He loved ripping off the wrapping paper.  Jaxon was more excited for the toys then Graham was.  I think he would have been just as happy with just the wrapping paper.  When we put his monster cupcakes on his high chair he wasnt sure of it at first.  Once I put some frosting in his mouth it was all over. He just dug right in.  He was laughing and giggling the whole time.

We love you grahamers!!!  We are so happy that you joined our family on 1/11/11.  HAPPY BIRTHDAY BUDDY!!!!

Update... Long Time No See

Well it has been a while.  So I am just going to do a fast up date and then just move on to what is happening now.

For Halloween we had a sweet Ninja Turtle, and a Cute Elephant.  Jaxon had a super fun time trick or treating with is friend.  It was fun to see him get excited and understand what was going on.  We also had a wonderful time at the ward party.  There were tons of games, great food and fun.

We were able to go home to Oregon for a week and half and had a great time with family.  We were having so much fun that we didn't take very many pictures.  So nothing to show.. but we were so glad to go home and se family.

Jaxon and Graham are so funny.  Jaxon has been so good with Graham lately.  I think he really wishes he was bigger to jump around and wrestle with. So I am the next best thing.  We have fun together.  Love my little boys.

Christmas already?  I cant believe that it has come so fast.  I remember being a little kid thinking that christmas was never going to come.  It seemed like it took forever for december to roll around.  Not it has almost come and gone.  We had so much fun putting up our tree this year.  Jaxon did a great job of helping put on the ornaments.  I love how festive a simple tree can make your home.  I love this time of year.

This year we started a new tradition in our family.  We have an Elf from the North Pole come to visit our home.  His name is Clyde and he comes to our house and watches us to see if we have been good boys or girls.  He goes back to the north pole every night to report to Santa on how we are doing.  He moves to a different spot each morning making mischief and bringing fun treats for the holiday season.  It has been really fun to see Jaxon get so excited to see where he is every night.
Here are some of the funny things that Clyde has done.

Our town held a tree lighting ceremony with santa, a train and hot chocolate.  It was a really fun adventure to do as a family.  Jaxon and graham loved all the lights and the music.  We were able to ride the train around right before it started raining.  We went home and had some hot chocolate to warm us up.  Cant wait to see what the rest of the hoilday season brings.
